3 SEO Mistakes People are Making

The first mistake that you might be making is using your name as a keyword. Sadly, too many of us do this and you aren’t helping people find your website. The next mistake you are probably making is not doing enough keyword research for your niche. Using the wrong keywords can do more harm than good. Lastly, you probably aren’t being consistent enough with your keywords and posting to keep up with the demands of SEO. So what’s a girl to do? 

What To Do Instead

First, always use the best keywords for your niche. Don’t know how to find them? Hire an expert! Another step you can take is to sign up for a program like SEMRush to do the heavy lifting for you. Be sure you are looking at SEO as a long-game. It’s not a quick fix for getting leads, but rather something you do to get organic traffic into your business over many months and years. It is a great way to find leads without having to pay for ads!
